I’m carrying this over from the previous thread. Last night Kilgore was all over this comment (see image above Gus captured at Greenwald’s new news site) that was made in regard to a guy that was part of Occupy Wall Street.

That’s what I got out of it as well.

The first part of the quote is: “I argued that any kind of violent defense would not work to our advantage, and everyone agreed…” vis a vis police suppression.

The second part of the quote asks a hypothethical: when it would be appropriate to respond with violence after the police have initiated the violence.

I just don’t get the “these people are prepared to shoot cops” interpretation.
