Yeah, some people at Marvel are apparently of the opinion that their comics starring non-white male characters are killing their sales. Which is pretty much bullshit. Sales at Marvel are down, but comics like Coates’ “Black Panther,” “Ms. Marvel,” and others aren’t doing that badly.

What does hurt Marvel, at least in my opinion, is a combination of too many crossover events (which are expensive to follow and mess up storylines in individual comics), too much enthusiasm for reboots and renumberings of issues (which make it more confusing for readers to keep track of comics), and shotgunning too many new comics into the market (which makes it impossible for new comics to get and keep new readers).

Marvel still has way too many GamerGate-curious douchebros in their offices trying to make comics safe for hating girls and brown people again.

Yep.

Which makes it all mind-boggling that the dude is an Indonesian, from Jakarta.

And defends Trump and Spencer and Paul Joseph Watson.
