Congress voted an extension of ERA which expired in the early 80s. And if Virginia does ratify ERA there is no doubt in my mind that the corrupted supreme court will vote 5-4 that it wasn’t ratified in time and is null and void.

If both Houses approve an extension, and it gets the necessary additional state, then it may become law, though as you say, it’s possible that SCOTUS will vote against it because it wasn’t approved according to the original deadline.
