The scary thing is that he is convinced he can drop a few nukes and “wipe Iran off the map”.

But even if the majority of the Iranian population was wiped out in a first strike, there would STILL be retaliations against Americans the world over. We don’t exactly have super strong relationships with our allies these days so it’s anyones guess who might come to our defense.

Point is, there’s no winning to be had here. Assuming a nuke is dropped, even the best case scenario is still a worst case scenario.

Targeting civilians with nuclear weapons as a first strike would be a war crime. Every nation with any sort of treaty or alliance with us would immediate terminate it. We would be alone in the world, and the Union likely wouldn’t survive the aftermath.
