They must have CAIR on speed dial since CAIR released a statement while they were still at the airport. How convenient.

I’ve had general conversations from time to time about the safest place to be on an airplane, but the conversations have taken place at, say, in a group at work, or at the gym - this is not a conversation one has after you are already seated on the airplane!

That, together with what you just said about how quickly CAIR issued their statement, makes me wonder if this might have been a “set-up”, to see what would happen, so that a complaint could be made.
