Yesterday I went to get my nails done at my favorite salon, which BTW happens to be run by Buddhists. They had the loudspeaker set to “Christmas Music 24/7” which included some of the most horrific “Christmas music” ever recorded.

I mean, a song “Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane” sung to the tune of “In the morning, in the evening, ain’t we got fun!”

I would have ripped the speakers right out of the wall but I didn’t want to ruin my nails.

A local FM station programed “The First Noel”, followed without a breath by “Paint It Black”.
