Exactly. Nobody likes abortion. Hell, I don’t like seeing it happen just because a man and a woman weren’t responsible with their sexual decisions. In some cases it’s an ugly thing, but in many others it’s a necessary procedure to preserve existing life.

I’d still rather see an abortion than an orphan, or an abused, malnourished, forgotten victim of somebody else’s irresponsibility.

It’s just another thing in this country where the discussion has become completely about the extremes on every issue.

I don’t think this is an extreme opinion: I like abortion. The advancements in medical science that allow women to have control over their reproduction have given them a freedom that many men take for granted. It’s only an ugly thing when the stigma attached to it causes a woman to delay the decision to abort beyond the first or mid-second trimester, or the restrictions placed upon it make it unavailable earlier.
