I’ll take massive vacancies in senior positions any day over the kind of scum and villainy that Trump/Bannon would nominate. IMO these vacancies are the best news I’ve seen in months.

That’s the thing - given how Trump, and by extension Bannon, feels about all the leaking and all that, they probably don’t want to appoint anyone they don’t trust. But they probably don’t KNOW 500 people they trust. And apparently they’re unwilling to accept the judgement of their Cabinet appointees - at least two of them proposed deputies that Trump/Bannon found unacceptable.
