There is a basic factor in the biz called R0, for rate of transmission, or transmissive factor. Basically, 1 is carried, the R value is how many they transmit to. Right now the going R0 for CV is 2.2 to 2.6, which is bad. We want it to be less than 1 and the spread goes into death spiral.

I wonder how the R0 changes between conservatives/Trumpers, completely apolitical igrnoramuses, and the rest of us. Seems to be a speciality in epidemiology that should be explored. There’s little doubt social distancing will be much diff between these social groups in society.

I have even more reason to not want to hang out with conservatives. Might kill me.

The ones in my life were bragging about going to the bars before they were locked down here in IL. Posting group photos all together saying in essence “This virus can’t stop us!”
