I wonder if my hardware reseller friends will leverage some of this percepton of the cloud to kick up their on-prem solutions sales again. The decline in infrastructure purchased by a large swath of their customers was really rapid for some of them.

IoT worries me a lot.

Internet of things intersecting with self-driving vehicles is going to lead to at least one major disaster before any steps are taken, because these things always have to be learned the hard way.

Hopefully this future disaster is some relatively normal fuckup, as opposed to AlQaida v 2.0 finding the next equivalent to flying hijacked planes into skyscrapers.
