From what I understand, Trump really doesn’t understand Twitter beyond tweeting.

Trump’s Tweets May Be Hurting Him

A new Politico/Morning Consult poll shows that 60% of voters say Trump’s use of Twitter is a bad thing, vs. only 19% who say it is a good thing. Even worse, 46% think it will hurt his reelection chances, which is more than double the number who see it as an asset. In addition, 48% think his tweets hurt America’s standing in the world, vs. 13% who say they help. Even Republicans are starting to say “whoa!,” with 51% of them saying he tweets too much.
