SO, if they have a disagreement and go on strike, do they strike against themselves?

In Israel the main labor union Histadrut owns (or owned) Koor industries. Some time about 15 or 20 years ago I think, the workers at one Koor’s plants struck. Sounds odd doesn’t it.
