Yeah, Hollywood’s creatively bankrupt. Turning board games into movies, remaking iconic movies with “modern” stars, making sequels/prequels to old classics, making “live action” versions of old cartoons.

The sad part is there must be thousands of classic, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, romance, youth, biography and other literature that could be used as the basis for some awesome movies.
