Question: Is anyone on the federal level talking about actual confiscation of guns that were legally obtained? Even AR-15s?

My recollection of the 90’s AR gun ban was that if you bought one before a certain date, it was still perfectly legal to own it.

Where does the Obama “is coming to take all our guns” meme originate? Does it just spring from the same well that’s given us similar anti-Obama rhetorical hysteria regarding birth certificates, Kenya, Islam, terrorism, etc?
