I’m aware. But in this country religion has privileges and rights greater than those of normal businesses. And given the hold it can have on people’s minds, that’s for the best. John Oliver’s plan would, if implemented, likely be found unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. And it would be a 7-2 ruling, at minimum.
