It’s worse than bullshit, they’re saying that by retweeting flagrant racist snuff videos Trump effectively redefines their standards of basic decency on the fly. They’re following him down this mental spiral of ever worsening depravity and dragging their user base and society at large along for the ride.

I still remember when wingnuts went apeshit over a report that Obama had used ni**** in a speech about racial relations, and yet here’s Trump retweeting snuff videos and the argument is “Hey, we gotta allow this shit to remain because ‘both sides.’”
