Hey guys — let’s calm down here. We are on the same side.

I have friends and family who support Trump. One of them said to me yesterday that we remain friends because we usually avoid political discussions. I know that I get very heated in political conversations with my brother as he regurgitates every RW talking point (except Pizzagate and Obama being ineligible — those are the only ones he never bought into). What we need to do is find arguments that can persuade the less delusional/racist among them to reconsider their views.

I hope you can understand that I am not accepting of your friends and family who support a regime that encourages violence and discrimination against my children, grandchildren, and family. I hope you can understand that having my 6 year old grandson called “chin k” is not ok, and the people who still support the conservatives are complicit. I shun.
