I’ve met her. I voted for an opponent but Jen will be a great candidate and I will gladly help her out.

I was really impressed with the voter contact and gotv done by all the Democratic candidates in VA 10. Jennifer Wexton is a State Senator and appears to have support of State party. I received a letter from Gov Northam and a live call from my state delegate in her support. I think she has a good chance of finally booting out Comstock. I believe that the district was gerrymandered for Comstock’s Republican predecessor, Wolf. So this has been a long time in coming.

At my precinct voting station, I was able to chat with Alison Friedman (her voter outreach was amazing) and Lindsay Stover’s husband. I believe that all the other Democratic candidates had representatives there as well.

This is the first time in my 30 years of voting in this district that I have seen this level of energy and enthusiasm on the Democratic side. I truly felt bad that I could only pick one.
