It’s a hole in State law. He was told by a Judge that he couldn’t have weapons in his possession after his vehicular assault on his wife, but there is no requirement that local cops enforce that judgement. (!!!)

When she went to his house, used her key, and collected his guns and took them to the cop shop, they arrested her for breaking and entering and grand larceny. Under the law, she is prima facie guilty of that charge and they had no choice. It’s up to the courts to work it out.

Florida: go figure.

if she had a key, she can’t be arrested for breaking and entering. Perry Mason and the Rockford Files taught me that much, at least!
