Might be little more than the thinning of the “Never Again” and “We Shall Overcome” generations. We patently failed to reproduce our values in adequate numbers.

The big thing that kept us from going that route in the 40s was Germany declared war on us. We had Nazi rallies here. We denied Jews entry. We were still under Jim Crow.
