In Japan the drinking age is 20. Every time I buy beer or wine in a 7-eleven, I have to tap a screen affirming I am above 20. It’s required or else the sale can’t proceed.

Wow, last time I was there (about 10 years ago) you’d still see kids fetching beer from the store or vending machines for their parents. Getting serious, I guess.
