as frustrated as I can be with Sinema and Manchin, I believe that what they will do is whittle a bit on the edges before agreeing to pass the bulk of the bills on… this will allow them to burnish whatever contrarian mojo they chose to wear as cover for themselves politically and to be honest, most of their posturing is bullshit as I expect them to come down on our side for the majority of what is in the bill. My issue with them grandstanding is the delay and the cynical takes that come out of each of these performances.

There are way too many damn problems ongoing to put up with too much of this shit in order to get what needs to be done, done. Also, let it be known that while Manchin and Sinema are taking the spotlight, I’m sure that there are a few other Dems who aren’t completely embracing the legislation and as such, those two allow them a certain amount of cover. I just wish that our Senators felt the same urgency we see as each delay kicks cans down the road that need to be addressed right fucking now.
