I gotta admit, I just don’t get the appeal of a lot of the current popular animation series. Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Steven Universe.

I think it goes back to Dr. Katz. When did bad animation become cool?

I don’t mind the style of animation & I find Adventure Time interesting in many ways. The Ice King’s story is a glorious tragedy unlike much else in western animation.

But Rick & Morty? I despise that nihilistic & solipsistic take on existentialism and really can’t wait till that crap is off the air.
