The paper that made such an utter hash of its coverage in the lead-up to the last war that most of its counterparts took turns accusing it of being the WH’s mouthpiece and it felt compelled once the truth came out to issue an public apology to its readers…thinks the smartest thing it can do when a new administration is trying to start another war is hire back the woman who was responsible for that coverage.

I can see no negative repercussions from this decision./////////
