One difference between left-nuts and right-nuts just now: The Obama administration is trying to smother or ignore the far left (ANSWER, Code Pink, etc.) and sweep it under the rug, while many of the media-anointed rising stars of the GOP (Bachmann, Brownback, etc.) are kooks themselves and many others are consorting with kooks. Almost noone in the Republican leadership actively opposes them.
