Sorry to disappoint, Lidane, but I will throw that dart right back at you. I’m holding my copy of a reprint of the 1964 edition of “Sun Tze on the Art of War” by Lionel Giles, M.A. Picked it up in Taipei back in the early 80’s. Just reviewing the history on “Sun Tze” and “Sun Wu” which is a bit ambiguous . The book’s intro starts with a reference to one biographer Ssu-ma Chien, who is quoted “Sun Tzu Wu was a native of the Chi State. His Arz of War brought him to the notice of Ho Lu, Kind of Wu…” (spellings per the book).
