On what planet is Huckabee capable of communicating (presumably persuasively) with liberals? For example, I’m well left of the US center, and it is completely obvious that Huckabee and I do not inhabit the same reality or speak the same language.

Huckabee is all about the God-soaked magical thinking in lieu of reality, and my view is that reality comes first and any policy prescriptions need to be evaluated on the basis of real-world effects and nothing else.

I was watching some stuff on Paladia, and flipped over a few minutes into the Ed Show and he had just finished interviewing some guys about the Huckabee announcement. He wrapped that segment up saying he thought Huckabee was the best communicator of all the Republican announced candidates.

I am no longer watching Ed!
