A German official admitted earlier today that admitting Greece into the Eurozone was “a mistake”. I think the Germans at least, along with the Baltic States, Slovakia certainly, and quite a few others are simply at the end of their patience with Greece. It’s a money pit, basically.

I never got why Greece got in in the first place. Their financial situation sucked from day one. That Greece couldn’t manipulate their own currency and all that other good stuff that is often necessary to manage a country’s economy is simply baffling from all angles.
