I would assume that Obama would want his nominee confirmed as a legacy thing, thinking Clinton will have plenty of opportunities to fill Court vacancies.

President Obama’s legacy is already assured. I don’t see Mr. Obama as someone who needs some sort of capstone on his career to point to.
