Good morning. Just kind of a drive-by since we’re hitting the road for home shortly.
It occurred to me (as an atheist, so I could be way off here) that the McCain healthcare vote ought to make some of the allegedly religious people sit up and take notice.

Senator votes party line against the welfare of poor people.
Senator has surgery that delays critical vote.
During surgery an aggressive brain cancer is discovered.
Senator returns to cast deciding vote against the healthcare repeal.

At the least it’s a made for TV movie. Or it’s the divine intervening in the situation.
But I guess if your preferred deity doesn’t much care for the poor, you won’t pay attention.
