The notion that Mueller is somehow going to save you from Trump strikes me as somewhat naive in light of what we’ve seen so far.

Even if Mueller fully and incontrovertibly exposes Trump for the criminal money laundering Russian puppet that he is, nothing will happen, because of Congress, and the Supreme Court, and the millions of homegrown nazis supporting him. The rule of law, which was always perilously fragile in the US , will not apply to him.

There is enough evidence out there without a Mueller investigation: obstruction of justice, conflict of interest, violation of the emoluments clause, etc., but the political will is lacking.

I do not see how that is going to change.

The only good thing I see coming out of this is DT’s tax records being made public. That in itself might not be enough to sink him, but it will take a lot of the wind out of his sails.
