I think my main problem with it (and to be fair, even going back to high school when I first saw the movie and didn’t really think/care about this sort of thing, I wasn’t a fan) is that it’s theoretically a Hispanic/Latino movie, and there’s like maybe three actual Latinos in the entire movie.

I do agree about Michael Corleone, for what it’s worth.

Yeah I hear ya. That’s definitely a fair point. I think were it made now that someone of Hispanic/Latino ancestry would have been definitely wanted for the role. And yeah see my point above about how Michael goes wanting to separate himself from his family name to ultimately I think proving to have a lot of the worst elements of his siblings and father but none of their best which resulted in their deaths being mourned while his is lonely and alone although two of his brothers died violent deaths.
