We are playing with a reversal of trunk-or-treat, in which kids will drive by distanced stations in the public park, and costumed adults (spooky masks over masks) will drop sealed commercial goodies in bags on their side mirrors. Communication and logistics are tricky, but we have sponsors and city clearance.

We’re going to decorate our yard as usual, but we’re going to put a table at the end of the sidewalk rather than have people come up to the house. And we’re going to make it so that you have to either pull up or get on the sidewalk in the same direction as traffic flow. And then I’m going to hand out whole candy bars.
