Yeah, the argument usually comes back to, “VAERS is reporting thousands of deaths and other serious outcomes and nobody is reporting on it!!!” Prominently ignored is the fact that VAERS data is self-reported, that incidents are validated, and that only things which have a statistically significant correlation with administration of the vaccine are taken seriously. Most importantly, they ignore that the whole reason the vaccines come with a warning about myocarditis is BECAUSE those incidents were reported via VAERS.
