Agreed, and I think the broader point you can make is that Religion by itself is rarely dangerous, it’s when religion is mixed in with a desire or effort at governance that it becomes a volatile and lethal mix.

Religion is a political entity. Faith by itself is rarely dangerous. Religion is a way of corralling people into group-think.
