I live in a smallish city in western Hunan. It’s mostly agriculture here, and the power plants are long way off. We probably get most of our power from Three Gorges Dam, which not too far from here. So the air quality is much better than in the metropolises to the south and east.

Lucky! The industrialized cities are just alveoli hells. I assume you are an English teacher, no? How has your relationship with the locals changed in the last few years? Better? Worse? As the growth in GDP has sagged, I am curious how it has affected Bignoses.
