I recall a reporter noting the other day (can’t remember who) saying he’d investigated a few states where Mr. Trump owns businesses and such paperwork to transfer the businesses had not been filed.

Transferring ownership or control of a business requires public filings. Should be no trouble for Ms. Hicks to provide that evidence, or the note from the IRS saying he is under audit.
