The Nation, the magazine best known for having significant trouble arriving in your mailbox in one piece, has a somewhat ridiculous take on Rachel Maddow’s extensive coverage of the Trump/Russia ties:

As many others have pointed out, an obsessive focus on Putin absolves the Democratic Party from having to reckon with their own failings, as if it was Moscow that tricked Hillary Clinton to not campaign in Wisconsin, or to spend the whole month of August (after Bernie Sanders’s gracious call on his supporters to back her campaign) courting neocons.

Yes, Rachel should shift her focus to the awfulness of Hillary and the graciousness of Bernie!

Rachel and MSNBC are in the TV business. Right now they are making TV that is attracting more viewers in prime time than they ever have.

Maybe The Nation can focus on other issues…once they sort out how to publish a magazine that doesn’t fall apart en route to my mailbox.
