I like how they think that’s going to scare away a potential shooter no ifs or ands about it.

if someone is targeting a specific school or specific people, not much of anything is going to deter them

sadly, there is no way to stop any specific mass shooting
there are lots of things that can reduce or prevent many of them

the other side will always win if we let the conversation degenerate into “nothing could have stopped this one”
