Oh, please…that’s not exactly a stereotype of Californians though, is it? However, SJ’s comments about Southerners plays into long-standing stereotypes and, just as all West Coasters aren’t dope-smoking, anti-military, eco-hippies and all New Jerseyites aren’t Tony Soprano, all Southerners aren’t Bible-thumping racist rednecks (among other things).

Just sticks in my craw…
