That’s close to Mark Furman’s view after investigating death penalty cases in Little Rock. He though that capital punishment should be greatly limited, but felt it still had a place for truly heinous crimes like mass murder.
In cases like there, where there is absolutely NO DOUBT the man is a monster, I wholey support the Death Penalty. There is no reason society should be expected to waste it’s resources keeping such a person alive, fed and in good health.
Why should someone like him have a warm bed to sleep in, 3 meals a day and a roof over his head at the People’s expense, when there are law-abiding citizens who don’t have those things?
