re: #180 Gus 802
So, I voted for Bush in 2004 to finish what he started.
Interesting.
So here I am then a once true believer of Carter who signed off on what was the eventual slaughter of many an East Timorese.
Oh, I can relate. It’s nowhere on the level of Carter/East Timor, but I voted for Clinton really believing he could live up to promises like ending discrimination against gays in the military, specifically. And we know how that ended up — didn’t happen until a couple months ago.
Like O, Clinton only has so much power, anyway. It’s why we’re supposed to have checks and balances and such. Good luck reminding the anybody-but-bush/primary-obamas whose collective historical memory seems on the same level as a gnat.
I suppose things like this are why I have ZERO patience for the primary obamas claiming he doesn’t deserve a second term!!!@1, when they have no names capable of putting up a winning challenge.
Heh, scratch that…they have NO NAMES AT ALL.
