The “started blazing away” bothers me, not only because two innocent women were injured, but also because such poor aim could also impact those beyond their targets.

While I do not support, in any way, the suspects motives, the actions of the LAPD in trying to apprehend him do speak to a “shoot first, ask questions later” mentality that the suspect questioned in his manifesto. I don’t think that the LAPD have any plan to take him in alive.

I’m beginning to question just how much of his allegations against the LAPD are worth investigating.
