True of many militant atheists, unfortunately. PZ Myers is OK by me but then he has actively broken with the most dickish ones. I am not a believer but I have friends who are, of several different religions, and all of them are appalled by many of their co-religionists. Some days I don’t like people much. Except you of course.

I’m an Agnostic but I also acknowledge Catholicism’s impact on my philosophy as both my parents were raised Catholic and my four grandparents too. Plus yeah I have friends and family who are too. It’s not for me but believing in God doesn’t make you stupid or a bad person.
