I realized that the reason Republicans hate McCain is because he wasn’t a depraved sociopath like Trump is. What do they hate about Mccain? He thought democracy shouldn’t be for sale, he favored treating immigrants like human beings, he opposed torture and he wouldn’t vote to ram through a bill to take health care coverage away from 20 million people without any hearings or debate. Trump is their kind of monster; he doesn’t have an ounce of compassion or empathy.

i wonder if trump wasnt pres, or mccain had died before 2016 so there was no direct comparison to trump, that the right’s reaction to mccain in death would be totally different
