re: #201 Teddy’s Person

This is what we need from the Democrats at all levels. People willing to roll up their sleeves and clean up the fucking mess that Trumpco leaves behind when they are all frog-marched to prison.

Right now, my pick for the top slot is Beto (full disclosure: I have a huge Obama-sized crush on the man), and my pick for number two is Tammy Duckworth. I say “right now” because I got burned by John Edwards and his working-class populism.

I really like Beto too because I love his approach and he honestly and maybe it’s that he’s a guy of Irish descent named Robert Francis but he also has the similar goofy but lovable smile of RFK who was before my time but my favorite Kennedy brother. He’s also done a lot of policy stuff on issues important to me i.e. immigration and the drug war. He’s also a pretty positive guy. I like Tammy Duckworth too. I don’t think she will be running but I think she should be considered for VP if she wants it.
