Bernie could lose the nomination by a landslide and his followers would, once again, claim the nomination was “stolen” from him and again, either refuse to vote or vote 3rd party just to teach the “Establishment” a lesson. Didn’t work so well the last time and it wont work well this time either.

And I know that sucks, but if Sanders draws people to vote democratic who otherwise wouldn’t, that is a reason to nominate him.
