Wrong.
In marriage, a man and woman make a covenant before God to love each other for life. In divorce, they break that covenant while promising their children they really love them. Children arenāt stupid. They know your promise to love is worthless. (Joseph Spurgeon)

My current wife and I made our ācovenantā before a chipmunk in a ghost town.
My previous wife, who I married in a church (presumably a ācovenant before Godā) dumped me for demon possession.
My understanding of covenants doesnāt include religious ones. That said, when one side breaks the tenets of a covenant, there is no longer a covenant.
Plenty of children love both their parents even when they are divorced.
Lori Alexander is the sort of person who would look down on my mother because she didnāt immediately remarry after she was widowed.
