Obama Botches Meeting with British PM

As was already mentioned on the “gift gaffe” thread: the White House staff is well equipped to deal with such visits, and employs dozens of people who live and breath protocol and etiquette. Flubs like this are, simply, inexcusable - with the support resources available, all the President needs to do is show up with a smile on his face, and everything else will be taken care of. Instead, he winds up alienating one of our oldest and most trusted allies.

Moron.

Meanwhile, he’s essentially ceded foreign policy to Hillary Clinton, who is running around the planet enacting gaffes of her own while pursuing her own political agenda - like paying back all those Chinese campaign contributions with a waiver on human rights questions. She will use her position to undermine Obama in preparation for her next run at the Presidency.

Meanwhile, our enemies and allies alike will quickly pick up on this discord, recognize it for the weakness it is, and exploit the Hell out of it and us in a heartbeat. Iran will get it’s bomb; North Korea will get it’s bomb; China will swamp the planet with cheap exports in exchange for short-term gain; and Russia will, in all likelihood, wind up in either direct or indirect control of more than 2/3s of the world’s oil as it expands it’s influence into our own gaping vacuum in the Middle East, while renewing ties with old friends in Cuba and Venezuela.

Obama may very well cause more international damage to the United States and it’s position in the world in his first 100 days in office as Jimmy Carter managed to wreak in four full years. And if he’s already “too tired” to do his job after just a few short weeks, we may see a complete breakdown within the first year.

Just what the country needs - Joe Biden as Acting President.
