Urban voters can be energized to vote against rural areas. Discounting the illusions of every Cletus safari, this has not been the case. Dems have never gone to war against welfare farmers as far as I remember.

That’s why the first Presidential primary (caucus) is in Iowa. If you don’t kiss farmer ass, you can’t be POTUS.
